Judy and Jean are thoughtful experienced professionals who provide consultation and education on everything from everyday bumps and bruises to major medical consultations with physicians and specialists.

Judy and Jean focus on a global approach to health and wellness. They provide referrals to community health services and help design individual education program such as learning to take medications or assuming responsibility for meeting health care needs. Our nurses also provide group health oriented educational opportunities such as nutrition classes and sexuality education.

The nurses also provide classes and training sessions for agency staff, home providers and natural families. These trainings include Basic First Aid, CPR, OSHA Universal precautions, responding to anaphylactic shock along with other health and safety issues.

A number of exemplary quality assurance reviews have singled out our specialized work in serving individuals with intensive medical needs. Our experience has helped us build effective relationships with many specialty medical providers.

Psychiatric services are provided by our Medical Director, Kathy Pittaway, M.D., one of the state's recognized experts in the field of developmental disabilities. Like every other service we offer, psychiatric care is provided via a team approach with you and your family at the forefront. A global approach is used to evaluate all possible causes prior to starting a course of medication.
