Lincoln Street Inc. is currently seeking Providers to share their homes and lives with adults with developmental disabilities. We are looking for people who are compassionate, patient and creative; who have common sense; are able to set limits and work within a team setting.

Lincoln Street Inc. is currently seeking the following:

  • A long term home for a 52 year old very capable woman who enjoys baking, kayaking, helping teach others and her job in White River Junction. She enjoys helping around the house and family time. She needs support with her social skills and her home and community safety skills. An annualized $18,000 tax exempt difficulty of care payment plus room & board stipend and a flexible respite budget provided.

  • A home to support a 22 year old woman who enjoys animals, NASCAR, socializing, shopping and wants to develop the independent living skills to someday live on her own. She needs support with emotional regulation and relationship building. An annualized $24,000 tax exempt difficulty of care payment plus room & board stipend and a flexible respite budget provided.

  • A home to support a non-verbal 51 year old man in the greater Hartford, VT region. He enjoys swimming, walking around his community and visiting car dealerships. He needs significant support with his health care & personal care needs, emotional self regulation and his ability to communicate his needs. An ideal Home Provider will have patience, personal care & behavioral care experience and a quiet and flexible home life to meet his needs. An annualized $30,000+ difficulty of care payment plus room & board stipend and a flexible respite budget provided.

  • A part time home, 3 to 4 days a week, for a 27 year old non-verbal Autistic woman who enjoys being social, participating in community outings and being outdoors. She has just recently found her "voice" through facilitated communication and will need ongoing support to continue this success. She needs the support of a patient and caring Provider to assist her with her impulse control and personal care needs. A rate of approximately $100.00 per day plus training and support provided.

  • A long term home to support a 58 year old woman in southern Windsor County or northern Windham County of Vermont. Although very much a homebody, she does enjoy socializing with people she knows and enjoys shopping at thrift stores. An ideal Provider will have a quiet home and be able to provide her with the support necessary to help her with her Anxiety issues. An annualized $28,000+ difficulty of care payment plus room & board stipend and a flexible respite budget provided.
